macbook vs. macbook air

it has been on my mind for the past few days and i have also posed the same question to the few that i know who are bonafide apple fans.

"should i get the macbook or the macbook air?"

both have got what i want.

the macbook, for its faster speed and larger storage capacity and its value for money.

the macbook air, for the simplicity and portability and i like things that light up (illuminating keyboard).

most say that i should get the macbook, simply because its better in all aspects apart from its portability.

and then i look at what i use the laptop for.

emails, paying bills, chatting on msn, facebooking, up loading pictures, writing my blog, reading the news...

nothing really major. just the everyday things, all of which that the macbook air would be suited for.

and i do remember that i have been looking for a smaller or possibly lighter computer.

think i might wait awhile. let macbook air iron it's bugs out first and get a feel for it when i know of more people owing one.

but certainly, it would be a mac from now on.
