Crazy Idea
So, we are building a new church, cos our old church was razed...well, not to the ground, but kinda got abit toasted internally. And together with water damage, it was not a safe place to be in.
Hence, the need to find a new santuary. My Pastor was just letting us know about where we are at, and currently we are still short of 10%...which ultimately was a rather substantial amount.
Thats when my mind started wondering...
Lets say we needed...$500,000...or let's say, a charity organisation or something along those lines, were in dire need of that amount of cash. We get the word out to the communities of brisbane about the need...in particular, that we get the word to precisly 500,00 people.
500,000 working adults, or people who are able to spare one gold coin, and only just that one dollar.
And over a certain period of time, get these people on the specified dates to go down to the avenues to drop their gold coin...and we get $500,00!
Im sure many out there will find countless of problems with this idea.
But hey...that is why it's a CRAZY idea...and not a good one.
