I needed a backpack. I have 3 friends willing to loan me theirs.

I needed accomodation in London and Germany. A friend that I hardly know, offered, as well as 2 German students that I only got to know for 3 days offered their places.

I needed friends to study with. An unexpected group allowed me to gate-crash theirs.

I needed a whole list of answers for questions that needed to be handed in. Someone helpfully sent me theirs.

I needed a list of procedures to be ticked off (not accomplishing it would mean delay in graduation). A Consultant offered to sign off anything I needed.

I wanted my housemate to attend one particular church service, and she did! In fact, she signed up for a women's event after the service, and even paid for my application!
